¿What is MIIPAT? 

The Interactive Inclusive Museum of Transmedia Audiovisual Production (MIIPAT for its acronym in Spanish) is a project that involves media for scientific and technological dissemination of the use of modern technologies in the inclusion of people with different abilities.

Its first stage is an approach towards people with visual disabilities.

It is a project promoted by the Faculty of Communication Sciences in collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. It is supported by the Mexican organization CONACYT and various educational, social and governmental institutions concerned about the insertion of people with different abilities in the use of modern technologies. Among them is the Institute for the Blind Ezequiel Hernández Romo, of San Luis Potosí, the Technological Institute of Puebla, Civil Protection of the UASLP, and Civil Protection of the State of San Luis Potosí.
